He got his beard on fire afterwards. Didn't really make any difference, however, since he just patted it out and continued.
So, yeah, there was this Medieval Festival in Germany over the weekend and we went there yesterday. Bought a drinking horn and mead (really, really nice stuff, I even got tipsy on it (I'm a light-weight)) and took about 700 pics in three and a half hours, lots of them of pretty guys in skirts (sex-on-legs, if you ask me! *drools* - yes, I'm a lesbian, but aesthetically straight), will be posting more pics later when I've sorted through them.
